广东话有一句话:长命功夫长命做。
活了十九年,经验告诉我,
在时间紧逼,工作未完成,
水深火热时,才说出此话。
简单来说,就是偷懒,
借口偷闲,松弛神经。
不过刚刚冲凉时却有另一番见解:
长命功夫长命做,
同样的,短命功夫短命做。
需要慢工的活儿,就不必逞强迅速完成;
简单易成的活儿,就不必浪费光阴敖熟。
这样一来,“长命功夫长命做”不是懒散的理由,反而是提醒不懂得理由时间的懒虫要“知时善用”。

其实这句话的意思是:别时常让自己太忙碌,偶尔也要懂得休息!
Design of this statement is for busy man, not for lazy man! (LOL)
Aiyo, if you finish quick and have fun, it doesn't mean that you are lazy, it just mean that you are efficient, can either get on with new task or have fun..
besides, different people see this sentence with different thoughts in their mind, even though people who made this sentence write it to busy people.
